When will I receive my prescription?

For some medications, we can simply issue you with a code or electronic prescription that you can take to a local pharmacy.

In the case of the self-injectable anti-CGRPs, these are not available from high street pharmacies. For these medications, once your appointment is completed we will send your prescription to the pharmacy within five working days (in rare cases, such as during periods of clinician or staff sickness, it can take longer).

It can then take up to a week for the pharmacy to get in touch with you to take payment for your medication and to arrange delivery.

Make sure to book your appointments well in advance, giving yourself plenty of time before your medication is needed.
