The clinic at the National Migraine Centre provides access to a team of doctors with a specialist interest in the management of migraine and other headaches. We offer appointments by prior arrangement for patients from across the UK and abroad.

The National Migraine Centre is the only charitable clinic in the country specialising in headaches and migraines. Since opening in 1980 we have seen tens of thousands of patients. At our clinic we see patients with various kinds of headaches – not just migraines; we see people with cluster headaches and tension-type headache as well.

For your personal migraine or headache treatment plan and long-term migraine or headache relief, find out how you can book an appointment to see one of our specialists.

Some doctors offer existing patients follow-up appointments by phone or via Skype (first appointments are always carried out face-to-face).   Some people find phone consultations useful as they do not have to pay travel fees and do not have to take additional time off work.  Please discuss this with reception if you prefer to have an appointment in this way (call us on 020 7251 3322). Phone/Skype consultations have a set fee for all patients of £160 and are booked as a 20 minute appointment.

We are independent from the NHS and do not receive government funding, so all appointments are fee based.  Our headache and migraine specialists may carry out certain medical procedures including Nerve-block injections and Botox injections which also carry a set fee. The doctor can further advise on these procedures during the consultation.

As we are a charity, we take great pride in offering assistance to patients who cannot cover the costs of the appointment.  In order to continue this, we rely on donations from our patients, the general public and grant-making bodies.
